CallisonRTKL seeks a senior Interior Designer with extensive
workplace design experience to join its Workplace Practice Group located
in Dallas, Tx. As a designer at CallisonRTKL, you will join a highly

Responsibilities

Leads the interior design and/or documentation effort for Workplace interiors projects of varying sizes

Collaborates on all phases of the design process including
programming client needs, conceptual and schematic design, design
development and construction document preparation

Generates project program documents, space planning concepts and 3D perspective views for presentation to the client team

Participates in the specification of furniture systems and finish materials for each project

Coordinates with consultants, furniture dealers, product reps and fabricators to meet overall project objectives

Aids in managing clients expectations, team communications and consultant coordination

Supports business development and marketing efforts

Contributes to CallisonRTKL's office culture including participation in office activities, initiatives and learning programs.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related design field from an accredited school

9-15 years of experience as an interior designer with a focus on corporate interiors

Strong knowledge of the design process, including color and materials, furniture systems FF&E and specifications
-
Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
-
Ability to focus on a single project or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development

Ability to work well in a team environment

Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly, both verbally and graphically

Strong leadership, organization, communication and relationship management skills

LEED accreditation preferred
