Interior Architect – Workplace (4-8 yrs. exp.)

CallisonRTKL seeks an Interior Designer to jkoin its Workplace team located in Washington, DC. This position requires experience in workplace design and a clear uderstanding of design constructability, detailing, and building code analysis. You will join a highly collaborative and creative team dedicated to design excellence and innovative problem-solving, The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, self-starting individual driven to succeed.


  • Develops and manages interior fit-out and furniture packages
  • Works closely with senior staff supporting design and technical tasks
  • Complete site surveys, field verification and test fit plans
  • Leads design development and construction document preparation
  • Develops presentations and 3D rendering to present to the client team
  • Revises drawings and renderings
  • Conducts research for the project team
  • Provides technical guidance to junior staff


  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Architecture or related design field
  • Minimum 4 years of Interior Architecture Design experience
  • Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
  • Maintains effective communication with project team members
  • Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive relationships
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCad, SketchUp, Illustrator and Photoshop and InDesign
  • Proffesional license preferred
  • Leed accreditation preferred
