CallisonRTKL seeks an Architect with retail project experience to
join its Retail Stores Practice Group located in Seattle. The position
is focused on managing small-to-mid scale specialty retail projects.
Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates and manages the project process for small-to-mid scale domestic projects

Prepares work drawings, specifications and cost estimates for projects

Oversees and revises construction documents, drawings and renderings for projects
-
Represents the project or practice as the primary contact for client interaction
-
Negotiates critical and controversial issues with appropriate parties
-
Collaborates with other lead professionals to ensure design and documentation are in accordance with project expectations
-
Ensures work meets clients’ requirements, is timely and completed within budget
-
Manages the work of architecture and interior design staff that complete design or production work, and construction documents
-
Assists with financial management of all assigned projects
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related design field
-
Masters degree preferred
-
9-15 years of Architecture experience, retail project experience preferred

Professional registration preferred
-
Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all clients and employees

In-depth knowledge of building codes

Proficient in AutoCAD
-
Experience with Sketch-up and Revit preferred

LEED accreditation preferred
